Akhil Gomantakiya Daivadnya Brahmin Youth Association(AGDBYA), Margao celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by Biking & Hiking to Assodem waterfall in valpoi taluka. Total 67 Bikes with 116 youths had participated in this Event. All the bikes Travelled 52 kms. through interior Roads of Goa with hiking of appox 2 km to reach the spot.
Participants from Margao, Mapusa,Panaji, savorderm met at Ponda bus stand where refresher talk on “ Road safety & Riding Discipline “ was given by ASI Mahesh Sangodkar of Goa Police Ponda Taffic Cell under the guidance of Ponda Traffic PI- Krishan Sinari.
The Ride started with Flag off done by ASI Sangodkar – Goa Police Traffic cell- ponda .
This Event was conducted to unite the youths, create Awareness on Road safety & Riding Discipline. The Indian Tri-colour was hoisted at waterfall to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence. This Organization is conducting this event for past 12 years
