CM Dr Pramod Sawant unveiled the “Gomantbhumi Janak Parshuram” Statue at Panaji today. The statue of Bhagwan Parashuram embodies the enduring essence of Yoga. The statue is an enduring tribute to the creator of Gomantak Bhoomi. This project is developed under the Panaji Smart City project of Restoration & Protection of the Coastline of Mandovi River. The project includes a Promenade from Pedestrian Arch Bridge near ESG to Children Park themed as ‘Tapaloka’ Yog Kshetra. It consists of Sinha Dwar, Yog Setu, Yog Stambh, Yog Dalan, Yog Mandal, Yog Path, Pranayam kshetra, Asthang Yog Kshetra and the Bhagwan Parashuram statue.
