Today Colvale Police station have cracked a night burglary case within a weeks time by arresting two accused and recovering total stolen mobiles W/RS. 64000/-.
That on 4.8.2022, at night hours a burglary had taken place at Thivim wherein unknown person effected entry in mobile shop at Thivim by bending main shutter and thereafter decamped with 07 mobile phones and cash.
In the connection a team was formed under supervision of Shri. Shobit Sexena, IPS SP(N), Shri. Jivba Dalvi SDPO Mapusa consisting of Shri. Somnath Mahajik Pl, Colvale PS, Mandar Parab PSI, HC- Rama Naik, PC-Sulesh Naik and Sajjo Dessai. The team was assisted by technical surveillance staff and continuously intelligence was being collected to gather evidence and to identify and trace the accused.
Today during night hours, the team succeeded in swiftly nabbing the accused namely Mr. Abhishek Kumar Singh age 23 yrs N/o Bihar and Mr. Kalyan s/o Kamal Handique age 26 yrs N/o Assam. They were apprehended at at Kundaim Ponda Goa and all the stolen property consisting of various mobiles of different brands including cash was recovered.
With this success Colvale
Police Station has achieved 100% detection in house breaking and shop breaking thefts.
