Anjuna police have arrested 02 accused persons for breaking into house and committing theft of mobile phones.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi On 21.07.2023, one complainant namely Shri. Chittaranjan Pradhan, age 28 years r/o Odisha, presently staying Bondir waddo, Chapora, Bardez, Goa who is a Housekeeping staff of a reputed Hotel and was staying in a shared accommodation reported that on intervening night on 20/07/23 between 23.00 hrs (approx) to, 02 Unknown accused persons, effected forceful entry into complainant’s room and his friends room and committed theft of 03 mobile phones and a charger, All worth Rs 1,55,000/-.
In this connection an FIR under sections 457, 380 r/w 34 IPC was registered and investigation was carried out.
During the course of investigation Anjuna Police Station with their meticulous planning, local intelligence and technical surveillance cracked. down the above House Breaking Theft by night case within 02 hours of registration of crime. The accused namely (1) Mr. Prashant s/o Ranvir Singh, age 32 years, n/o Uttar Pradesh (2) Mr. Parvesh Md. Hussain, age 19 years n/o Delhi were identified and placed arrest in the above crime.
The stolen articles were recovered at the instance of the accused persons.
The team led by PI Anjuna Shri. Prashal P. N. Dessai, PSI Sahil V. Warang, Police Constables Praveen Patil, Mahendra Mandrekar, Abhishek Kasar, Rama Parab, Satyendra Nasnodkar developed the information and well executed leading to the arrest and recovery of the above stolen property.
