Success of my government was due to collective efforts: CM Dr Pramod Sawant

Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday said that the success of his government was due to collective efforts of the entire cabinet. Addressing a gathering to mark one-year completion of his government, Sawant said that his government has reached out to every Goan through the schemes and various initiatives. Sawant had taken over the charge as the chief minister on the same day last year after BJP emerged as single largest party in 2022 Assembly election. The chief minister said that he has been able to provide stable government resulting in human development and infrastructure development besides providing the good governance. “Whatever we achieved was due to collective efforts of the entire cabinet. We are together that is why we could achieve it,” he said. Sawant mentioned that state government’s swayampurna scheme has been recognized across India. The chief minister said that the ministers from his cabinet will visit each taluka every month to hear grievances of the people. Sawant said that his government’s crackdown on land grabbing has resulted in several arrests. Speaking about Manohar International Airport in North Goa, Sawant said that the commissioning of new facility has happened without affecting the existing Airport at Dabolim.
