Panaji Police have registered a case following a complaint by Shailendra Kumar, a resident of Taleigao, regarding the theft of his white Activa scooter (Registration No: GA-07-M-6938). The incident occurred between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM on January 27, 2025, at the parking area of Foodland Restaurant in Miramar, Panaji.
The stolen scooter, valued at approximately Rs. 30,000, bears Chassis No. ME4JF501LD8588711 and Engine No. JF50E80587016. According to the complaint, the vehicle was taken from an open parking space.
An FIR (No. Panaji PS Cr. No. 19/2025) has been filed under Section 303(2) of the BNS, and further investigation is currently underway. Police are working to identify the unknown accused involved in the theft.
