We are celebrating world mental health Day,this is the one of biggest problem in the world, it’s not only problem with celebrities it’s also have with students.These issues have been taken at many level from NGO to World Health Organization, Says NSUI Chief Naushad
In Goa university campus Goa Students are facing mental health and depression issues. This Goa Government is not taking mental health issues seriously even they are not considering the students Mental Health issues, It can be seen in Goa University Campus, In Goa University there are more than 2000 Students but they are not getting full time counsellor, they have a counselor who only visit twice a day.
We met Assistant Director of Higher Education Kaustubh Kamat and demanded the full time Counsellor in Goa University to redress the mental issues faced by the students.
During Pendemic there were no counselor at university campus. Post pandemic lots of students are suffering from mental health issues but there isn’t any counselor.
The theme for this years World Mental Health day by WHO is “Make Mental Health & Well-Being for All a Global Priority”
The authorities should follow this theme and should work for the well being of the students mental health and should make this their utmost priority.
We NSUI Goa demand Government to take students mental health issues at top priority and provide all kind of support to students, – Naushad NSUI President.

We are the student organization who work for the students for overall development and provide support to the students. We have seen many students who are facing mental health issues. Not a single other Student organization have raised this serious issues because they do politics, but NSUI have seen the problems of Students we strictly Demand to Goa Government and Director of Higher education of Full time counsellor at university campus.
