Gomantak Bhandrai Samaj Yuva Samiti Organized one day Trek at Mainapi waterfall in Netravali village on Sunday . The trek was attended by around 500 participants from all over Goa. On the Way to the trek Gomantak Bhandari Samaj Yuva Samiti carried out cleanliness drive at the waterfalland surrounding area.

The prominent leaders of Bhandari Samaj attended the Trek which included MLA of Mandrem Constituency  Jit Arolkar, North Goa Zilla Parishad Adhakshya SiddeshNaik, Ex Mla of Saligao Constituency Shri Jayesh Salgaonkar, Amit Palyekar and others.

Speaking on the occasion MLA  of Mandrem Constituency  Jit Arolkar Said that he will be always behind the youth who works for the betterment of Society, and said he would like to see theyouth of Bhandari samaj to organize many such programmes to strengthen the bond within.

President of the Yuva Samiti DikshakNaik said the main aim of the  samiti to organize the trek was to take the youth close to the nature and make youth accessible to rich floraand fauna of Goa. He thanked his committee member and General secretary  Pankaj Jalmi for their efforts in organizing the trek and carrying out the cleanliness drive in forest area.

Siddesh Naik, Jayesh Salgaonkar and Amit Palyekar urged the Yuva samitito organize many such events in near future which helps youth to explore nature.

Asst. Conservator of Forest, DamodarSalelkar, coordinated the trek and congratulated the Yuva Samiti for organizing such trek and carrying out cleanliness drive in forest area.

President of Central Committee Ashok NaikFlaged off the trek along with Mahila president SandyaPalyekar and others.

The trek was co- coordinated by PadmanthGadekar, ReemaSonurlekar, Esha Waingankar, Parvesh Naik, Ashish Shirodkar, Rohan Naik Mashal Adpaikar Raghuveer Shirodkar and other.
