Goa TMC busts fake news propaganda orchestrated by BJP against TMC*
Goa Trinamool Congress leaders Shri Trajano D’Mello & Shri Socorro Menezes today launched a scathing attack on the BJP as they busted the fake news propaganda orchestrated by BJP to malign TMC.
Addressing the media at the party office in Panaji today, Goa TMC leader Shri D’Mello said the BJP had resorted to spreading fake news since it was rattled by TMC’s alliance with their former ally MGP.
Taking a swipe at the BJP for circulating and then even marketing a fake video defaming the TMC, Shri D’Mello said, ‘The BJP I-T Cell has a history of using morphed videos to spread misinformation to defame other parties. It is infamous for inciting discord between communities and everyone is aware of this.’
He added that the BJP government had brought immense misery to the people of Goa and time had come for a credible alternative to take over. An alternative that does not misinform, but rather proves it’s worth with good governance.
Shri D’mello remarked that the BJP would not have to depend on fake propaganda had they done their job efficiently. ‘Despite several attempts, their tricks have failed because ultimately it is the work you do for the public that matters. The public can see through the lies.’ he said.
Further slamming the Congress, Shri D’Mello said that the Grand Old Party was too weak and confused to take on the BJP. ‘The only credible option that we can present to the people of Goa is TMC,’ he reiterated.
Shri D’Mello emphasised that, ‘Goans will not watch this nautanki by BJP and the Congress-GFP alliance. He added that the TMC will stand up for justice and work with MGP to usher in a ‘New Dawn’ in Goa.
