CM Dr Pramod Sawant Felicitated the athletes and coaches who represented India at the Special Olympics held at Berlin, Germany in the presence of Social Welfare Minister Subhash PhalDessai, State Commissioner for Disability Guruprasad Pawaskar, Victor Vaz for Special Olympics Bharat and others. CM congratulated all the participants and those who won medals at the international platform. Goa is proud to witness the number of medals and number of participants in the National Team. CM congratulated Social Welfare Minister and Disability Commission for extending the support to the specially abled youth. The Govt. of Goa to extend Financial Prize of Rs. 5 Lakh for the Gold Medal, Rs. 3 Lakh for a Silver Medal, and Rs. 1 Lakh for a Bronze Medal. The Govt. of Goa is committed to inclusiveness and extend the support to sports and all round development.
