In a shocking incident that unfolded in Vasco, Goa, a man was brutally assaulted and stabbed in a violent confrontation early on December 8, 2024. The victim, identified as Ashpak Kador, reported that he was attacked around 5:30 AM near the Dabolim Bridge by Seshant Rathod, also known as Shirsha Sto Suku Rathod. The assailant, who resides near a tattoo studio in Bogmalo, allegedly struck Kador with multiple blows and slaps before using a broken glass bottle to stab him in the left side of the stomach, resulting in severe bleeding injuries. He also threatened to kill the complainant.
The motive behind this unprovoked attack appears to stem from Rathod’s anger over Kador’s relationship with his sister. Following the incident, local authorities swiftly apprehended Rathod, who has now been remanded to three days of police custody by the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) in Vasco. The investigation is being led by Police Sub-Inspector Prisly Carvalho of Vasco Police Station as they delve deeper into this alarming case of violence that has left the community shaken.
