Porvorim, Goa – February 5, 2025: Nawaz Khan, 30, of Reis Magos, was arrested at Art Park, Porvorim, at approximately 8:05 PM for allegedly running a matka gambling operation, according to a police report filed at 9:51 PM.Khan was reportedly caught accepting money and issuing matka slips in public.

- Matka slip book
- Carbon paper
Khan has been charged under Section 11 (2) (a) of the PG Act. ASI Devanand Redkar is the investigating officer.Authorities have been actively cracking down on matka gambling in Goa.
