Arrest of Notorious Interstate Thief and Recovery of Stolen Property
In a significant breakthrough, the Calangute Police Station has cracked a theft case involving the burglary of Casa Das Imras Villa, where the accused decamp with high end laptops, a watch, cash, and other valuables.
After tireless efforts, the Police identified the accused as D. M. Santosha, a 27-year-old resident of Dodderi, Bhadravathi, Shimoga, Karnataka. A dedicated team led by PSI Shri Rajaram Bagkar worked closely with the Karnataka Police to apprehend the accused.
The stolen property worth Rs. 3,00,000/- has been recovered, and the accused, who has a history of committing thefts across India, has been taken into custody for further investigation.

Further investigation is underway with PSI Yogesh Mandrekar under the supervision of PI Calangute Shri Paresh Naik, SDPO Porvorim Shri Vishwesh Karpe, and SP North Porvorim Shri Akshat Kaushal IPS.
