Waves 2025: Goa’s Biggest Cultural Storm Hits BITS Pilani Once Again
When a college fest feels less like an event and more like a full cultural takeover, you know
Waves has returned. From 31 October to 2 November, BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus
hosted Waves 2025, three days where creativity, music, madness, and pure college spirit
collided on the coast.
With 8,000-plus attendees and students from 150-plus colleges, this year’s edition did more
than maintain the legacy. It elevated it.

🌟 The Nights That Owned the Crowd
Every year, the Artist Nights define the Waves experience. In 2025, the energy was on
another level.

✨ Day 1 – Indie Kickstart:
Aditya Rikhari opened the festival with warmth and charm. As “Sahiba” floated through the
open night sky, the crowd swayed and sang along to a perfect indie start.

🔥 Day 2 – Bollywood Madness:
Then came Sunidhi Chauhan. The moment she hit the stage, the energy exploded. More
than five thousand people screamed the lyrics to “Sheila Ki Jawani” in perfect chaotic
harmony. It was a Bollywood Night that felt unreal.

⚡ Day 3 – EDM Meltdown:
Krispy Kristina and Ravator closed the fest with a high-voltage EDM Night. Strobes, drops,
jumps. The campus turned into a pulsing arena of music and lights.

🎭 More Than Just Concerts: The Heart of Waves
Waves is built on competition. With 40-plus events, talent was everywhere, and every stage
felt alive.

The spotlight stayed on the Big Four:
Natyanjali showcased group dance crews pushing themselves to elite levels.
Sea Rock reaffirmed its place as India’s biggest semi-professional band competition, with
qualifiers held across 12 cities.

FashP (Fashion Parade) delivered style, choreography, drama, and creativity on a runway
filled with energy.

Mr. and Ms. Waves tested personality, talent, and presence through multiple rounds across
all three days.

And then came Sizzle, the iconic street dance showdown. Raw freestyle battles, massive
circles, roaring crowds. It is easily one of the most-watched Waves events and a YouTube
favourite.
Waves also hosts a Prom Night, a classy breather amid all the chaos. Suits, gowns, soft
lights, slow music. A perfect reset before diving back into competitions.

🎤 Final Take
Waves 2025 proved that the fest is not only growing but also transforming into a national
cultural phenomenon. The scale, the performances, the turnout, the energy. Everything felt
bigger and better.
