The Goa Industrial Development Corporation (Goa-IDC) hosted a significant event titled “Banking on Growth: Empowering MSMEs through Collaboration” at Novotel Goa, Patto, Panjim, on January 13, 2025. With participation from 31 banks, the event aimed to strengthen the relationship between the banking sector and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Goa.
Key objectives included raising awareness about new regulations that facilitate industrial growth and encouraging collaboration to address financial challenges faced by MSMEs. The event featured insights from industry leaders and an interactive session aimed at fostering dialogue between banks and MSMEs.
Mr. Pravimal Abhishek, IAS, Managing Director of Goa-IDC, emphasized the importance of partnerships in empowering MSMEs to drive sustainable economic growth in the state.
