SDPO Mapuca Jivba Dalvi informed that on 08.06.2023 HC 4602 Mr. Eustaquio Cedric Fernandes S/o Tito Fernandes attached to SPCR ROBOT -14 attached to Mapusa Police Station , Mapusa , Bardez , Goa lodged complaint on behalf of the state to the effect that On 07.06.2023 at 23.12 hrs at Dmellowado, Canca , Bardez , Goa accused 1. Mr. Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 50 years 2. Mr. Faizal Shaikh S/o Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 29 years 3. Miss Heena Shaikh D/o Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 28 years 4. Mrs. Neeta Vasanat Naik W/o faizal Shaikh , aged 26 years with their Unknown associates , accused No. 5. Mr. Zahid Shaikh S/o Daud Shaikh , aged 33 years , 6. Mr. Faizan Shiakh S/o Daud Shaikh , aged 28 years 7. Mr. Amin Shaikh S/o Chandu Shaikh , aged 46 years All R/o D’Mellowado, Canca , Bardez, Goa , with their Unknown associates over their property dispute gathered in open public Place and formed unlawful assembly carrying weapons and in furtherance to their common object accused No. 1 to 4 with their unknown associates and accused No. 5 to 7 with their unknown associates abused each other with Filthy words , assaulted each other with wooden danda , knife , slaps , kicks causing bodily injuries to each other , tore cloths , threatened each other with dire consequences to kill , damaged vehicles , Personal articles and residential premises of each other causing loss to each other , negligently pelted galss bottles at each other thereby endangering the life of Complainant , other staff and Public members , wrongfully restrained the Commuters using Public road thereby effected peace and tranquillity in the locality of DMellowado , Canca , Bardez ,Goa also deterred the complainant and other Police Staff from performing the lawful duties.
Mapusa Police Station immediately registered offence U/Sec. 160, 143, 147, 148, 341 , 504, 323, 324, 427, 506 (ii) ,336 353 R/w 149 IPC .
SDPO Mapuca further informed that , during the Course of Investigation accused 1. Mr. Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 50 years 2. Mr. Faizal Shaikh S/o Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 29 years 3 Mr. Zahid Shaikh S/o Daud Shaikh , aged 33 years , 4 Mr. Faizan Shiakh S/o Daud Shaikh , aged 28 years 5. Mr. Amin Shaikh S/o Chandu Shaikh , aged 46 years all R/o D’Mellowado, Canca , Bardez, Goa from both the group were arrested on 08.06.2023 at 05.05 hrs . All accused remanded in 01 day Police Custody by JMFC, Mapusa
Investigation revealed that accused 1. Mr. Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 50 years 2. Mr. Faizal Shaikh S/o Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 29 years 3. Miss Heena Shaikh D/o Taj Mohammad Shaikh , aged 28 years 4. Mrs. Neeta Vasanat Naik W/o faizal Shaikh , aged 26 years having property dispute with accused No. 5. Mr. Zahid Shaikh S/o Daud Shaikh , aged 33 years , 6. Mr. Faizan Shiakh S/o Daud Shaikh , aged 28 years 7. Mr. Amin Shaikh S/o Chandu Shaikh , aged 46 years
After timely intervention by the Staff of Mapusa Police Station managed to bring the situation under control and prevented serious untoward incident in the locality of Canca , Bardez ,Goa and maintained the peace and harmony in the Village.
pi Mapuca Shitakant Nayak led team to arrest all accused involved in this case. Ladies involved in crime are served with Notices U/S 41 crpc.
Investigation is in progress with ASI Ricky Fernandes under the overall supervision of SP North Shri Nidhin Valson , IPS and SDPO , Mapusa Shri Jivba Dalvi and PI Shitakant Nayak
