The BJP for long has been treating the people like an arrogant child treats toys. Showing no care for the people’s welfare the BJP is due to change its Chief Minister in Goa just 2 months ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Goa. BJP itself believes that due to the incompetence of the current Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, the public sentiment against him has been on the rise. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party Shri Manish Sisodia shared this in a press-conference held on Saturday. He said quoting reliable sources that it has come to notice that the Bharatiya Janata Party is going to replace Pramod Sawant as the Chief Minister only two months ahead of the assembly elections in Goa and appoint another person as the Chief Minister. The BJP high command itself is admitting that Pramod Sawant has done no work and on the basis of 10 failure points, it is changing its Chief Minister in Goa. He said that even BJP knows that the people of Goa are unhappy with the current Pramod Sawant led government and it will be difficult for the BJP to contest the elections in Goa under the leadership of Pramod Sawant.

Shri Sisodia said that after Uttarakhand and Karnataka, BJP is going to change its Chief Minister in Goa just ahead of the elections because BJP understands that the people of Goa are unhappy and upset with the current CM Pramod Sawant. Two months ahead of the elections, BJP has finally learnt that Pramod Sawant has not done any work in Goa and it will be difficult to contest the Goa elections under his leadership. He said that this would be the first time in the history of the country when the party in power would admit that his government has not done any work and the people are unhappy with him.

Shri Sisodia said that the BJP high command has admitted that their Chief Minister has not done any work. BJP has prepared a failure list of 10 points on the basis of which they are going to remove their incumbent Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

Failure No. 1- Pramod Sawant led Government failed in to Manage the COVID-19 Crisis BJP itself believes that Pramod Sawant led Government of Goa has completely failed in COVID-19 management. When COVID cases were increasing rapidly in Goa, Pramod Sawant Government was inactive, as a result of which the infection rate in Goa reached 50%. After the failure of the State Government, the Panchayats of Goa decided to impose a lockdown. Even during this, instead of helping the public, the Chief Minister and the Health Minister kept getting confused, the report of this also came in the media and after the intervention of Amit Shah, the matter was finally resolved.

*Failure No. 2- Pramod Sawant Sarkar = Scam Sarkar * The BJP led Government of Goa is continuously involved in scams. Recently, the Labour Gate Scam has come to the fore in Goa where Chief Minister Pramod Sawant distributed the money to be given to the workers by the Construction Board among his own workers.

Failure No. 3- Lies in the name of COVID Relief The Pramod Sawant Government of Goa had announced that a pension of Rs 5000 would be given to those who lost the bread-earners in their families to COVID, but till now not even a single family has received this amount.

Failure number 4- Increase in salary turned out to be a jumla Pramod Sawant Government had promised that they would increase the salary of COVID Warriors by 20% but this also proved to be a jumla.

Failure number 5- Failed in disaster management also Pramod Sawant Government also failed in disaster management. During the storm of Taukete, there was a power failure in Goa which lasted over 4 days. The government was already aware of the storm, but Chief Minister Pramod Sawant kept sitting on it idle.

Failure No. 6- Pramod Sawant Government scammed the youth in Goa for job The government had announced that 10 thousand young people would be given employment but till now no one has received such employment. When the Aam Aadmi Party campaigned against it, then 2 months ahead of elections, the BJP Government is taking out pretentious advertisements. Today the situation is that Goa has the highest unemployment rate in the country.

Failure No. 8- Bad Law-Order Situation The law enforcement situation is bad in Goa. According to reports, a large number of murders and dacoities are taking place in Goa every day and the crime rate is rapidly increasing.

Failure number 9- Degrading quality of education system The quality of public education system in Goa has degraded over the years. While some government schools have closed, some others are on the verge of closure. During COVID, the situation was such that for online classes, children were forced to study climbing on top of the trees due to lack of network.
Failure No. 10- Skyrocketing prices of electricity and water The people of Goa are suffering from an increased electricity bill. When the Aam Aadmi Party opposed the increase in bill, the BJP withdrew the last bill hike. Manish Sisodia said that BJP has accepted that their Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has failed- his leadership has failed. Hence, now they are changing the chief minister right ahead of the election. He said that no matter how many Chief Ministers the BJP may change, but the mood of the people is not going to change. The people of Goa will uproot BJP from Goa in the coming elections and will bring Aam Aadmi Party government.
Manish Sisodia said that even BJP has accepted that their Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has failed- his leadership has failed. This is the reason why they are changing the chief minister right ahead of the election. He said that no matter how many Chief Ministers the BJP may change, but the mood of the people is not going to change. The people of Goa will uproot BJP from Goa in the coming elections and will bring Aam Aadmi Party to form the government.
