The Porvorim Health Centre, conducted an outreach health camp at Salvador Do Mundo, Panchayat Hall on 19th November 2022. In collaboration with Rotary Charitable Trust Porvorim&Dhanwantari Wellness &Yogeshwari Ayurved, Porvorim-Goa.
The camp was organised as the on occasion of 9th World Ayurveda congress to be held in Goa on 8th -11th December, 2022 at Kala academy, Panaji-Goa.
The Health Camp was inaugurated at the hands of ZP Kavita Gopesh Naik, Mr. Swapnil Chodankar, Sarpanch, Penha De France, Ms. RoshaniSaviokar, Sarpanch Salvador do Mundo, Mr. Sandeep SalgaonkarEx Sarpanch and current panchmember. Dr. Mukesh Kasbekar, Guest of Honour for the camp, spoke about creating awareness about Ayurveda and informed that Pre conference/Expo awareness and such health camps are being held be held in all in the Talukas in Goa.
The camp was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Sandhya Kadam, President Rotary Charitable trust, Medical officer in-charge, PHC Porvorim, Dr. Vikas Naik, Dr, Priyanka Barve, Dr. Aditya Brave, Dr. Puja Revonkar, Dr. Kanhaiya Sirsat , Dr. Madhavi Lotlikar.
In all, more than 100 citizens from all the three panchayats viz: Salvador-do-Mundo, Penha-De- Franca, and Succoro Panchayat availed the benefit of the health camp. During the camp, beneficiaries were screened for Screened people for FBS level, Bone Mineral Density and HB.
Dr. Aditya Barve oriented the visitors regarding 9th World Ayurveda Congress to be held in Goa and appealed to the visitors to visit the Arogya Expo-2022 and avail benefit of free consultation by ayurvedic physicians during the World Ayurveda Congress.
Dr. Madhavi Lotlikar was the compere for the camp and Dr. Aditya Barve extended thanks at the said camp.
