The Installation ceremony of Various taluka committees of Gomantak Bhandari Samaj Yuva Samite was held at Club Tennis De Gaspar Dias Hall, Miramar.
The Taluka Committees were identified and nominated by The President of Gomantak Bhandari SamajYuvaSamittee DikshakNaik, Secretary- Pankaj Jalmi, Treasurer- RaghuvirShirodkar along with entire executive committee.
The programme was held in presence of Shripad Naik, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Tourism and Ports, Shipping and Waterways &,guest of honour MLA of Mandrem and Chairman of Goa Housing Board- Jit Arolkar, , Former MLA Kiran Kandolkar, North ZP President Siddhesh Naik,President of Gomantak Bhandari Samaj Ashok Naik, Vice President DevanandNaik General Sec S FokruPanjikar, Treasure ZogussoNaik, Jt Treasurer Sunil Naik, Members Eknat Tari, KrishnakantGovekar, Mangaldas Naik, Mahila President Sandya Paliekar , Janardan Bhandari- Social activist Madhu Naik President of OBC Mahasabhaand Eminent personalities of the Samaj were present
Speaking on the occasion, MLA of Mandrem Constituency and Chairman of Goa Housing Board Jit Arolkar, appreciated the efforts of Gomantak Bhandari Samaj, YuvaSamitee to nominate taluka committees which was need of the hour and will play a major role in unifying the Samaj. He also stated that as apart of samaj he would provide each and every support required for the betterment of Bhandari Samaj.
Expressing his views on the occasion Hon’ble Minister for State Shripad Naik, urged the newly appointed YuvaSamite to work for the Samaj irrespective of political differences.
A special thanks was given by President Ashok Naik in his Speech to the Chief Minister of Goa- Dr.PramodSawant and Health Minister -Vishwajit Rane for providing reservation to OBC category students in medical seats.
