Mapusa Police have remanded 04 minor boys to Apna Ghar in connection with a theft case.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 27.06.2023 Mr. Vladyslav Allien , aged 31 years , Ukraine National R/o Morjim , Pernem ,Goa lodged his complaint that on 27.06.2023 at Near Galaxy hospital , Dhuler , Mapusa, Bardez ,Goa unknown Persons stole away his Laptop and cash of Rs. 500/- all property W/Rs. 90,0500/- approx.
In this Connection Mapusa Police Station registered an FIR under sections 379 IPC.
During the course of Investigation it is revealed that accused have used Modus Operandi of helping the complainant involved in a minor accident and under the pretext of helping the Complainant who fell on road for medical attention and after diverting the attention of the complainant, the minor boys committed theft of Valuable items of Complainant and disappeared from the spot with Valuable items.
The staff of Mapusa Police Station visited the spot and after using technical and human surveillance collected intelligence and narrow down on Four Suspects which were intercepted at different locations and on getting them at Mapusa Police Station , staff succeeded in recovering the stolen Laptop and cash all property W/Rs. 90,000/-
Further, all Four male suspects who were intercepted with stolen property were found below 18 years of age as such they were produced before the Juvenile Justice Board , Merces and remanded at Apna Ghar. Further investigation is in progress.
