FDA officials carried out special surprise drive ahead of Diwali Festival to ensure safe sweets & farsan to public. Around 65 thousand worth food items were seized which included sweets, farsan, chips, & bakery items.
The shops were found operating in an unhygienic condition & without FDA licence. The Food Business Operators were directed to stop operations and notices were issued.
