PANAJI: Cumbarjua MLA called on the business community to explore business opportunities in the Cumbarjua constituency offering them opportunities to work in the tourism and water sports sector, which he said offered ample opportunities.
Speaking as a Chief Guest for the Indian Eminent Awards organised by Inovexia International, the MLA called on business leaders from across the country to set up businesses in his constituency.
“Let me explain to you the opportunities that lie in the Cumbarjua constituency. 50% of my constituency is made up of islands. There are lots of opportunities for water sports, for tourism activities. There is a helipad in the constituency, there is rail connectivity with a railway station, there are the Old Goa Heritage sites,” Faldessai began.
“You can seek help with regards to permissions. I’m always there. If you want to host business. Goa has seen a lot of infrastructure development in the last few years and is an ideal place to invest,” Faldessai said to the gathering of predominantly business houses from outside the state that were being awarded on the occasion.
“A lot can be done if we put our minds to it and you can always count on me,” Faldessai added.
