Three arrested for theft of JCB
Colvale police today arrested three persons for committing theft of JCB Machine.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi an FIR under section 379 IPC was registered upon the written complaint of Mr. Yamnoor Kadkal to the effect that unknown accusd persons committed theft of his JCB Machine bearing registration No. GA-01-S-6502 which was parked in an open public place at Madel Housing Board, Madel Goa.
Upon registration immediately Investigation was taken up and team was deployed to collect local intelligence, wherein after meticulous efforts received information from reliable sources that three persons are suspected to be involved in the commission of the above crime.
Accordingly after technical surveillance, the said accused persons namely Mr. Ravi S/o Dheerappa Chavan, R/o Sai Colony, Madel, Mr. Ravi S/o Dhakappa Rathod R/o Sai Colony Madel and Mr. Prakash S/o Somu Rathod R/o Auchit Waddo Thivim, All native of Karnataka were nabbed who confessed their involvement in commission of theft of the said JCB Machine by force starting the JCB Machine by over-riding ignition system. Accused persons have been placed undr arrest and remanded to 03 days Police Custody.
Entire investigation was conducted under the overall supervision of S.P. North, Shri. Shivendu Bhushan, IPS, SDPO Mapusa Shri. Jivba Dalvi, PI Colvale PS Shri. Somnath Mahajik, PSI Kunal Naik, HC- 5777 Pandurang Naik, PC-6340 Sulesh Naik all of Colvale Police station and further investigation is in progress.
