Colvale Police Station have improved thier surveillance and patrolling in order to check for suspected persons in the area.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi on 13.4.2023, Colvale Police station carried massive proactive activities in the Colvale Police station jurisdiction wherein from 06.00 hrs morning onward the police station team under supervision of SP(N) Nidhin Valsan IPS and SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi carried out combing operation in GaneshNagar/Mushirwado colvale.
The Police team consists of PI Colvale Shri. Somnath Mahajik, PSI- Mandar Parab, PSI-Kunal Naik, ASI- Ramchandra Sawant, Santosh Arlekar and other subordinate staff detained 101 male persons in the locality who were found residing without carrying Police verification.
In addition to that 07 persons were challaned for violating the provision of M.V. act and 02 two vehicles were detained for not possessing documents. All suspected were brought to the Police station.
Further 39 people were arrested u/s 41 Crpc who were found without possessing any documents and subsequently produced before SDM Mapusa along with report u/s 109 Crpc to bond over them.
