This new centre promises accessible and efficient services for the citizens of Pernem and is a significant step forward towards a more digitally empowered society. The Department of IT, Electronics & Communication, ITG, and GEL have worked diligently to make this centre a reality under the able leadership of the IT Minister Rohan Khaunte.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister expressed pride at the launch of free Wi-Fi hotspots at ten locations across Goa, along with IT Minister Rohan Khaunte. He emphasized that the Goa Government is committed to creating a connected and empowered India under the guidance of Shri. Narendra Modi.
Goa government is dedicated to bridging the digital divide and empowering communities to access education, healthcare, and online marketplaces. A total of 75 locations across villages are set to be connected, thereby leading the way in India’s digital future.
