Tragedy Strikes EDM Festival in Goa: Young Man Dies After Collapsing at EDM Festival

On December 29, 2024, a shocking report emerged from Vision Hospital in Duler, Mapusa, where a 26-year-old male, Karan Kashyap, was declared dead after attending the EDM party in Goa. Witnesses revealed that during the event on 28th Dec 2024, Karan lost consciousness around 9:45 PM, and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Despite medical efforts, he tragically passed away.

Friends of the deceased confirmed that Karan had been enjoying the festivities at one of Asia’s largest electronic dance music festivals before the unfortunate incident. A post-mortem examination is currently underway at GMC to determine the cause of death, and authorities are on alert for any signs of foul play.

This incident casts a shadow over the vibrant celebration of music and unity that the EDM party in Goa represents. As the festival continues to draw crowds from around the world, concerns about safety and health at such large gatherings are now more pressing than ever.

(GGIAL), is thrilled to announce the arrival of Enter Air’s first seasonal charter flight from Warsaw, Poland. This new service establishes the much-needed non-stop connection between Goa and the Polish cities of Warsaw and Katowice, furthering Goa’s position as a premier international tourist destination.

This is a landmark moment, as Goa now becomes the only destination in India with direct air connectivity to Katowice, paving the way for increased tourism and a positive impact on the local economy. Enter Air’s bi-weekly charter flights, scheduled every Monday and Friday, promise to be a reliable bridge, encouraging more tourists to experience the unique blend of Indian and Portuguese culture, lush landscapes, serene beaches, and exceptional cuisine that Goa offers.

Ananyaa Bath, a woman lifesaver from Drishti Marine, was involved in a successful rescue operation at Benaulim Beach.

The rescued person was a 40-year-old female tourist. Ananyaa Bath is one of five women lifesavers on the lifesaving team that conducts daily rescues and other beach-related tasks.
A family on the beach was located close to the shore, when two of the family members who were under the influence of alcohol decided to venture deeper into the sea.
While the two sisters were out in the deep waters, a sudden huge wave knocked one of the sisters over. She was temporarily submerged and took in water through her mouth and nose, which led to her suffocation.
The other sister with her witnessed her struggle and began shouting for help. On noticing the commotion, Ananyaa and two other lifesavers Punu and Subhash, who were stationed at the nearest lifesaver tower, rushed to their rescue using equipment such as a rescue board and rescue tube. The two sisters were safely brought to shore. The person who was knocked over by the wave was having immense difficulty in breathing. Ananyaa, the female lifesaver carried out CPR and cleared her airway, bringing the individual back to a recovery state. The victim was subsequently handed over to the emergency services for further examination.
