Archeology Minister Shubash Phaldessai and Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar visited Vice Regal palace inside MPA area . Minister Shubash Phaldessai says access to the heritage Vice Regal palace was built 400 years ago in 1705 but the structure Is in a very bad shape without any maintanence after being taken over by MPA . Says will explore the possibility of restoring old Glory after taking MPA in confidence and open the site for public to carry forward the history of Goa to future generations. Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar says Shubash Phaldessai was the first Minister to visit the site of Vice Regal Palace which was the history of being the old Capital which shifted to Mormugao . Amonkar said that old heritage with history needs to be restored so that the future generations are aware of the glorious history of Goa while visiting the heritage structures present in Mormugao
