Mukesh Ambani resigns as Reliance Jio director, son Akash Ambani named board chairman
The board of Reliance Jio has appointed Akash Ambani as its chairman, Moneycontrol reported on Tuesday citing a regulatory filing by the telecom branch of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL). The news of Akash Ambani’s elevation as the Jio board chairman was announced along with his father and RIL chief Mukesh Ambani stepping down as the director of Reliance Jio.
