That on 17.07.2023 AN, SDPO Porvorim along with Police Inspector Paresh Naik of Calangute Police Station, PSI Pragati Malik, Health Inspector Kamlakant Parsekar, representative of Villgae Panchayat Calangute Shekhar Palyekar and staff of Calangute Police Station conducted inspection of massage parlors and wellness centers in Calangute PS jurisdiction and checked following parlors & wellness centers. 1) Leline Exotic Center at Tittos lane, 2)
SOI Thai, Nr. Snow Park, 3) Buddha Spa at Bharat Junction 4) De Flora at Bharat Junction, 5) Ayurvedic Massage Treatment Centre Nr. PHC Candolim.
The staff present at the Spa’s and Wellness center except ‘De Flora Spa’ could not produce requisite documents for operating Spa & wellness centers, however they produced provisional certificates and informed that their licenses are in process. The owners were instructed to shut down operations in absence of valid licenses.
