HEAVY RAINFALL IS LIKELY TO OCCUR AT ISOLATED PLACES OVER NORTH GOA & SOUTH GOA DISTRICTS ON JUNE 17,18 AND 19,”- THE INDIAN METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT (IMD)

PANJIM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa has issued heavy rainfall warning for the State for the next three days. Fishermen are also advised not to venture into sea owing to rough weather conditions.
It has further said that the sea conditions are expected to be rough due to the gusty winds, which will be travelling at the speed of 40-45kmph. Hence, fishermen, especially along Vasco, are advised not to venture into the sea.
IMD in its weather bulletin issued on Saturday has issued heavy rainfall warning for the State for next three days till June 19. “Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated  places over North Goa & South Goa districts on June 17,18 and 19,” The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)
